This website has undergone a number of changes since we first released it way back in 2003 and since those early days when I managed this website with statci html pages it has been redesigned as a blog using the open source blog platform from WordPress.org which has been voted one of the top free software applications there is.
WordPress is a highly customizable blog content management solution which lets me keep the blog content and design updated easily. This site has used a number of different wp blog themes because they are pretty easy to change and mix up the design of your website. Of course after awhile you might just find that you only need one wp blog theme with some modifications for you blog use but the ability to change your wp blog themes as easily as you can in WordPress is a blessing for designers and webmasters who manage a large number of blogs.
can you imagine what it would be like to have to design a custom WordPress Theme for over 100 blogs? It’s not really impossible but there would be so much work to be done that I would never have the chance to actually write a blog post. With free WordPress Themes I can stay focused on whats most important and thats blogging.
