Some help for autistic children in Florida

Much as I hate to say it the State of Florida sure seems to go out of their way for autism. When AJ was in school in Ocala Florida he was in the special education classes for autistic children and he really did seem to pick up some things. He was in a special class with fewer students and he had moreone on one time than the average student.

Now Florida is taking bold steps to lead the way for children to get the help they need at an early age. Hats off to the legislators that put this piece of work through and got some help for autism affected families in Florida. Hats off to Charlie Crist, the man is making moves and on his way to bigger things it seems. I have no doubt we’ll hear presidential aspirations from this man some day. Florida has had a string of good governors up until Bush took the reeigns and now it loosk like Crist wants to bring back some prestige to the office.

Thank whoever you need to for this cause its going toi help a lot of kids.

Orlando (dbTechno) - Florida Gov. Charlie Crist made history on Tuesday, signing a major autism bill into law.

The new bill guarantees health insurance coverage for young children who are suffering from autism.

The idea behind the health insurance coverage is to provide autism therapy to young children so that they can deal with their disorder and try to live a normal life.

One of the biggest supporters of this bill is former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino, whose son suffers from autism.

Marino’s son is now in college and is apparently doing very well.

The new autism bill will provide up to $36,000 per year, with the ceiling set at $200,000 in coverage.
