California does have stats although maybe not in this study.   When do they fall off the child with autism count list, at 18? 21?  With a state population of approx. 34 million and lets say that 1/3 are children, thats about 1 in 500. but I don't know how they keep their stats.

Salt Lake City has recently built a school for atuistic kids.
