I took the kids to Roaring Rivers in Jamaica and they had the best time in the cave playing in the underground mineral springs. We went there twice actually as the first go around was a little to scary for them without flashlights. Seems they had just seen an episode of the Little Einsteins with bats and spiders in it. My oldest son AJ was blurting out bats and spiders the whole way into the cave and when I showed him the real bats he flipped. He was ready to go and go fast.
When we returned for the second trip I was better prepared and each kid had his own light. We also webt down into the caves before our swim this go around so we were not freezing already from the chilly waters. I actually took a swim in the water the first time but stayed out and opted for some pics this time. I have not really figured out the night settings with this camera but I was able to snap a shot of Robby and me in the mineral springs at the bottom of the cave. Everyone had a blast and we really like the caves in Jamaica. If anyone has plans to treavel soon why not send me an email. We’ll be here until the end of the year.
