Day spa and massage therapy while on vacation

So I’m on the road for a business trip and I’ll be spending almost a whole week in Missouri next month. You must wonder why Missouri of all places for a business meeting but I can’t tell you more than I’m selling off a portion of our domain portfolio. It’s just me taking the trip this time around and the family will be staying home. Although it’s a business trip for some web development work I am going to be relaxing during this trip and making it an informal personal vacation. My trip includes two meetings with a 3 day gap between which leaves me plenty of time to take in some of the sites and sounds of the city. I don’t know much about the area but I’m certain I’ll find things to do.

My wife informs me I’m looking tired. Apparently working like 60 hours a week online can be rough on the body and mind. She said the lines on my face look like canyons or something and she claims I could use a rejuvenating day spa treatment. I was thinking more like a relaxing weekend in a hotel room alone but maybe a therapeutic massage would be great for my aching back. I’m no metro sexual but I do appreciate being pampered on occasion and the idea of having a detoxifying facial and paraffin hand treatment sounds alright. I’ve been to a couple different day spas over time and have even had a few massages in my time. To be honest most massage therapists lack the proper touch for me to truly enjoy but maybe the wife is right. Maybe I could use a relaxing trip to a day spa to unwind and set my head free. Many massage therapists seem to think that a massage must be painful in order to work properly but that’s not necessarily the case. I prefer a more gentle stimulating massage session and don’t care for coming out sore from the experience. If I wanted to get beat up I would visit a chiropractor instead but a massage should be relaxing, not brutal.

Since I’m considering this as a real option on my trip I decided to use the power of the web to do some much needed research and to find myself a Massage and Day Spa in Springfield and low and behold I found Body Balance Massage in Springfield Missouri. Body Balance Massage offers a wide variety of treatments and services that seem exactly what I’m looking for. Tell me what you think or if anyone has any suggestions for me while I travel.

My husband was exactly the same! The thought of attending a spa made him cringe, until I finally got him to attend one. We chose, well, I chose, the Shizen located in Toronto, Canada. I didn’t know where to look for spas and came across a site called www.WaySpa.com. There I was able to search my area and found the Shizen spa to suit us the best. We had a great time and now I think he is hooked! If you go out of town again check out the site and you’ll be able to find some great spas close to you. Goodluck on your travels!
