Pompano Beach Parks and Recreation is offering infant and child swimming lessons which in South Florida is always great advice. Swimming is a great life skill to have in South Florida where the ocean is always nearby and the number of lakes, rivers and canals are enough to keep you aware of the dangers.
Sadly every year we hear a sad story about a child drowning in South Florida and lessons like these could help save lives.

Infant/Child Swim Lessons -Written by South Florida Parents - South Florida ChildrenThese classes are to develop in young children a high comfort level in and around the water and a readiness to swim. This course does not teach children to be accomplished swimmers or to survive in water. One parent or trusted guardian will assist the instructor in developing water adjustment.
