Foster/Adopt Placement - When it is felt that a child or children stand a good chance of being placed up for adoption, they will look for a foster family that is licensed to adopt and open to the possibility. This can also be called a legal risk placement. This does not mean this child or children will be up for adoption for certain. There are a number of children that do end up returning back home or to a relative placement.
