We’ve been in Negril for just about 5 days now and it’s been a lot of fun so far. The kids are enjoying things and it was a much better trip then expected. Negril is a wonderful place and we’re very happy that we’ve made it here this summer. Not much to report yet but the kids are learning so much about life in a different place. They both miss home quite a bit and we’re still working on that with them.
I was able to use Google Earth to show them the flight we took and explained how we flew over the seas and Cuba to arrive here. AJ seems to understand but Robby is too young. Some of the youth in the area like the computer and were show the earth and Jamaica on a map for the first time the other day. It was cool to witness their exitement in all of this and it’s been good to show them things with our laptop.
For now I’ll say we’re lewarnign new things about new peoples and culture and the kids are haivnga blast. Travel can bea great school if you are ready for the challenge.
